Minutes of Meeting
Meeting was called to order at 5:55 by President Mary Bryant.
Reading and acceptance of minutes from previous meeting postponed until March 18 meeting.
President’s Report:
CSTA was held in October, about 30 people attended IASTA meeting.
Donorschoose.org: Teachers can post projects or write proposals for classroom lessons and get donations from anonymous resources. Have to be a classroom teacher to participate.
National Lab Day: Started by President Obama. Teachers submit a project and get a connection to local scientists who can help with the project.
Time to pick new officers for IASTA.
Vice President’s Report: Sharon Marks No new information.
Treasurer’s Report: John Gifford: Not sure amount of money in account.
Webmaster: Pat Mazzulli: New pictures will be posted on the website. No new information.
County Coordinators: No new information.
Cal Poly: Steve Bryant: Bio Trek, tropical rainforest exhibit. Contact Steve at shbryant@csupomona.edu
CREEC: No new information.
IASP: No new information
Science Olympiad: Date set for March 6 from 8:00 a.m. to about 4:00 p.m. open to all schools. Receiving help from Cal Baptist students.
Cal State San Bernardino: No new information.
UCR: No new information.
STEP: No new information.
San Bernardino County Museum: No report
Old Business: No new information.
New Business: CTA website (cta.org) will include a page for teachers to look for and add lesson plans. This link will be added to IASTA website.

Nomination by Pat Mazzulli, second by Jim Dunn. Unanimous approval by members present.
Anyone who has served in a leadership position can be elected to office of President.
